Quality Controller

to join our dedicated team.

As a

Shift Quality Controller

, you will be the first line of defence in ensuring that our products meet exacting customer and process specifications. From inspecting first-offs and auditing production to handling non-conformities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, you'll be hands-on and at the heart of quality assurance on the shop floor.

Working Pattern:

3 rotating shifts (9:45pm - 6:00am / 2:00pm - 10pm / 5:45am - 2:00pm ) - 38.75 hours per week with 30 minute unpaid break

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and approve first-off components in line with procedures (QSP 8.2.103) Conduct regular audits--visual, dimensional, and mating part checks Monitor production scrap and escalate issues as needed Perform 100% product inspections when defects arise Quarantine and document non-conforming products using WinMan ERP Develop and update Quality Control Plans and PWIs Support training for operators and communicate quality expectations Ensure 5S standards in the quality area and promote continuous improvement
What We're Looking For:

Essential Skills & Experience

Hands-on quality control experience in manufacturing (plastics preferred) Strong attention to detail with a process-oriented mindset Confident communicator and team player Competent with MS Office and MRP/ERP systems Skilled in the use of measuring tools (e.g., digital calipers, gauges) Ability to read engineering drawings and quality check sheets

Desirable

ISO9001 / ISO13485 knowledge Internal auditing experience Previous experience with WinMan and ALS Exposure to 8D methodology Experience with CMM, Faro arm, and OGP Understanding of injection moulding and related faults
