We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow in the kitchen and dining areas.
Manage food preparation and cooking processes while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service and maintain a positive work environment.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and restaurant.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Assist in menu planning and development, contributing culinary expertise to enhance offerings.
Collaborate with other managers to implement strategies for improving operational efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential; hotel or barista experience is an advantage.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong customer service orientation.
