We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our barista environment. Duties

Supervise and manage kitchen and front-of-house staff during shifts and work along side them ensuring effective team management. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and consistency. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards throughout all operations. Assist in training new employees on culinary techniques, food production, and customer service best practices. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction. Collaborate with the management team to implement operational improvements and enhance service delivery. Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage stock rotation.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management. Excellent leadership abilities with a knack for motivating teams to achieve their best performance. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Previous experience in food production or kitchen environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with barista duties is an advantage. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. A positive attitude towards serving customers and providing outstanding hospitality.
