We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join MonLife's Heritage team to
help the development phase of the Shire Hall Museum Monmouth project. This
exciting project will develop proposals to integrate Monmouth Museum's collections,
including the nationally significant Admiral Lord Nelson collection, into the historic
Shire Hall to create an enhanced and sustainable museum offer with new galleries,
learning and community spaces, engaging and welcoming wider audiences.
You will deliver an in-depth programme of activities and events at Shire Hall, based
upon the development phase activity plan and ongoing public consultation, ensuring
that the development of the detailed proposals is inclusive, collaborative and
community focused. This will include establishing and collaborating with a number of
community panels, other MonLife staff, external consultants and organisational
partners.
This is a temporary post, extending beyond the length of the delivery phase to
February 2028, supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. It will give you the
opportunity to develop your skills based on your existing knowledge and experience
working with and delivering to a diverse range of audiences.
This is a part time 22.2hrs per week post.
