Overview

We are seeking a friendly and proactive shop assistant to join our team. Will be a good opportunity for university students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with daily shop operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. Fluency in English is highly desirable to effectively communicate with diverse customers. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their enquiries Provide information about products and services available in the shop Maintain organised displays and ensure the shop floor is clean and tidy Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system Restock shelves and manage inventory levels efficiently Support team members with general administrative tasks as required Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, aiming for prompt resolution Promote special offers or new products to maximise sales opportunities

Requirements

Excellent communication skills in English Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Organised, reliable, and attentive to detail Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities Must be available to work during shop hours, including weekends if necessary

Pay: Up to 2,400.00 per month
