Overview


We are seeking a friendly and organised Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our shop. The successful applicant will play a vital part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers and ensuring that daily tasks are completed efficiently.

Duties



Greet customers warmly and assist them with their enquiries Provide information about products and services offered in the shop Handle transactions accurately using the till system, including processing payments and issuing receipts Restock shelves/ fridges and organise displays to maintain an attractive shopping environment Keep the shop clean, tidy, and well-presented throughout the day Support stock management by organising stockroom areas Assist customers in finding products and offering recommendations where appropriate Maintain good communication with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications



Excellent communication skills in English Previous experience in retail and customer service Friendly, approachable, and able to work well within a team environment Organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively Demonstrates good organisational skills and a positive attitude towards work Minimum 3 years experience in food handling and retail

Please note that this is a fixed contract employment on +- 1 year but may be considered/ offered to stay on after 1 year
