Summary

We are seeking an individual to join our small and dedicated team at the Emsworth Delicatessen.

The ideal candidate should be cheerful, polite, hard working with great communication skills and possess previous retail, trained barista, customer service or catering experience.

Responsibilities

The position includes the following roles & responsibilities;

Customer service Deli counter service Taking orders & cash handling Use of commercial equipment Food preparation & production Barista coffee production & hot drinks service Baking & cake production Maintaining wash station & replenishment Stock rotation Process supplier deliveries Maintain cleanliness of the deli Full training will be provided.
We operate a four week rolling rota, three shifts per week, either five or six hours per shift including one Saturday.

Pay is inline with national living wage including holiday pay and uniform being provided.

Over 18's only.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members Barista skills Experience in merchandising and promoting products Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory Excellent time management and organizational skills Familiarity with catering services and food preparation techniques Proficient phone etiquette for customer inquiries and orders
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
