We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the shop, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organised environment.
The role is primarily shop based dealing with our Holiday home owners and covering our reception checking in an out our holiday makers.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
Maintain an organised and tidy shop environment, ensuring products are displayed attractively.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the till.
Restock shelves and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability.
Assist in the preparation of promotional displays and materials.
Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus (bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).
Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
A friendly, approachable demeanour with a passion for helping others.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required.
