Shop Assistant
to join our Retail team at our brand-new

shop.
This is more than just a retail job its a chance to support a great cause while gaining valuable experience. Youll be welcoming customers, keeping the shop tidy and inviting, handling purchases at the till, and helping to create a positive shopping experience. Your efforts will help raise vital funds to support local people affected by cancer.
About Big C
Big C is a regional cancer charity dedicated to supporting local people across our community whether thats someone with a cancer diagnosis, their family, or their friends. Every item sold and every smile shared in our shops helps make that support possible.
About the role
Youll be an important part of our friendly shop team, helping to keep things running day to day. From sorting stock and creating eye-catching displays to serving customers and supporting sales, youll play a hands-on role in the shops success. And as an ambassador for Big C, youll help raise awareness of the important work we do.
This role is for
7 hours
per week, working on
Saturday's
. From time to time, we may ask for a bit of flexibility to cover shifts during the week.
The pay rate depends on your age, in line with the
National Minimum Wage
: 12.21 per hour if you're 21 or over, 10.00 if you're aged 18 to 20, and 7.55 if you're under 18.
