Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction, assisting with inquiries, stacking shelves, bagging customer deliveries and regular cleaning.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries. Handle customer transactions accurately, ensuring basic maths skills are applied. Communicate effectively with customers over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Upsell products and services where appropriate to enhance customer experience. Maintain an organised workspace and ensure all customer areas are tidy. Assist customers. Manage time efficiently to handle multiple tasks while prioritising customer needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery. Stacking shelves Picking and Packing deliveries

Requirements

Strong communication skills in English Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience in previous shop assistant role is desirable. Excellent organisational skills to manage tasks effectively. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently. Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential.
