Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused Shop Assistant to join our team. in this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales transactions, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, organised shop environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail setting.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Be able to fill Deliveries. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, including restocking shelves and arranging displays. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the till. Assist in managing inventory levels, including receiving deliveries and conducting stock checks. Provide product information to customers, helping them make informed purchasing decisions. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction. Handle customer complaints or issues professionally, ensuring they are resolved promptly. Support promotional activities and events within the shop.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential. Strong communication skills in English. Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by the shop's operational needs.
