Job Description

We're hiring a part time shop assistant for our Northampton bakery!

-Hours: Tuesday & Thursday - 9:30am -3pm.

-Preferably not in any education

-Cake decorating or baking experience not essential (but is a bonus!)

A few job roles include:

-Greet customers entering the shop

-Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments

-Upselling products in a friendly manner and promoting new bakes

-Replenish shop counters and display bakes to attract customers

-Taking celebration cake orders and showing customers their orders

-Cleaning, Making filled rolls, Making up boxes

This role could include posting on social media & TikTok live presenting - if you have experience in this field please make it known as this is a huge bonus, but is not essential.

We're looking for someone who is fun, confident, enthusiastic, committed to work and has team player mentalities. We also ask for the following:

-Have a happy, friendly personality

-Good level of literacy and numeracy

-Experience working in a food-based or retail job

This is a part time, permanent job, hours are non-negotiable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour
