Overview:
We are seeking a mature and confident individual living in the Cupar/St Andrews area to join our team as a Shop Assistant. You will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our shop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
Duties:
-Scooping ice cream and preparing coffee orders
- Assist customers with their inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and restocking merchandise
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Job Types: Full-time with some weekend work.
