Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic setting and have a passion for helping others.

Duties

Assist customers with their inquiries and provide product information. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop. Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively. Process transactions accurately at the till. Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Collaborate with team members to achieve shop goals. Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages. Participate in promotional activities and assist in setting up displays.

Requirements

Proficiency in English is essential; bilingual skills in Chinese or other languages are desirable, but not essential.. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and colleagues. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage but not mandatory. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by the shop's operations.
