About us

Dansky's is a community based, family-owned supermarket.

We have two shops servicing the Gateshead community.

( The position is based in both stores )

We have a fantastic long-term opportunity with immediate start available.

The position is approximately 20 hours per week, with the possibility of full time hours long term.

Shifts can range from 4 to 12 hours.

The shift hours will be between 8:30am and 11pm.

The candidate must be willing to work six days per week during peak seasons or if the need arises.

A good command of the English language is a must.

Job Duties

:

Assist customers with their inquiries and provide excellent customer service

Maintain a clean and organized shop environment

Stock shelves and merchandise products

Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately

Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shop operations

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transactions and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
