We are seeking a friendly and organised Shop Assistant to join our retail team. Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs Maintain the organisation and merchandising of products on the shop floor Upsell products to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Handle customer enquiries via phone and in person using professional phone etiquette Process transactions accurately using the till system, including cash and card payments Manage stock levels, organise stockroom, and assist with stock replenishment Support in visual merchandising to ensure attractive product displays Assist customers with product information in English and Spanish, if applicable Manage time effectively to ensure all duties are completed within scheduled shifts Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within the store

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is advantageous Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Good time management skills to prioritise daily responsibilities effectively Experience in merchandising or retail is desirable but not essential; training will be provided Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with friendly phone etiquette Ability to upsell products tactfully to enhance sales performance Organised with attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards teamwork and customer care
