Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the shop.
Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer experience.
Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities.
Maintain an organised and tidy shop environment, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are appealing.
Handle customer inquiries via phone and in-person with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
Process transactions accurately using the till system while managing cash responsibly.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the shop.
Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and replenishment as needed.
Qualifications
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock management.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly desirable to cater to a diverse customer base.
Experience in upselling or sales roles is advantageous but not essential.
Strong organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage stock effectively.
