We are currently looking for a Shop Floor Systems Engineer. The successful Engineer will join our Team, based in the Liverpool area, to help us deliver the below tasks, as part of the project, we work on with our OEM Client:

  • New screen development in a body shop.
  • Working in a Cimplicity HMI/SCADA.
  • Supporting creation and release of templates for SCADA development.
  • Setting up the screens at different body shop sections within a plant.
  • Managing and conducting regular checkpoints with PLC\'s , HMI\'s & SCADA.
  • Providing support to the body shop floor by creating point names for Alarms, Counters, etc.
  • Integrating the screens with Rockwell/Siemens PLC\'s.
  • Recording and monitoring spreadsheets with integrating the points.
  • Coordinating the configuration with vendors and suppliers.
  • Reporting on KPI\'s to ensure good use of the applications and of the materials.
  • Performing tests and validating the tests results from the applications.
Qualifications

Essential:
  • Experience within production/manufacturing environment
  • PLC experience or understanding (Rockwell/Siemens)
  • Understanding of different hardware configuration
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strone reporting skills
  • Ability to introduce or support best practices for lessons learnt activities
Desirable:
  • Good knowledge of Cimplicity HMI/Scada
  • Good understanding of network communications
  • Understanding of conveyors
  • MS Packages experience
Additional Information
  • 6 months contract
  • Salary/rate - depending on experience
  • Main working location: Liverpool area
