Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines, ensuring freshness and quality. Operate EPOS till system to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and upselling items to enhance sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food prep areas, including proper food handling and storage procedures. Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability. Support food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation regulations, proper food handling techniques, and health standards. Engage with customers on the shop floor or cafe area to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles such as quick service restaurants, cafes, or grocery stores is preferred. Strong customer service skills while maintaining professionalism. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate transaction processing. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking across various duties. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques. Experience working in retail or grocery settings is a plus; culinary experience or restaurant background is beneficial but not required.
