Alternatively, if you would like to support us behind-the-scenes, you can apply to be a Stockroom Volunteer. Some tasks you would get involved with would be supporting our charity shop team with the sorting, steaming and pricing of new donations.
By volunteering you will help to raise important funds to support patients and staff across Leeds Teaching Hospitals - whilst meeting new people, learning new skills and having a great time!
This is a flexible role - 4 hours a week - We're looking for volunteers who are able to support us on Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday.

We do need you to complete some checks
A DBS check is not needed, but we need to ask you about any unspent convictions as part of our safeguarding procedures - please see attached Statement on Recruitment of Ex-Offenders and the Risk Assessment. Not to worry!, we'll send all the details that you need to complete this part of the application when you reach the informal interview stage.
A criminal record will not necessarily prevent you from becoming a volunteer & we'll support you through this process as best as we can.
As part of the application process, we require one reference from someone who has acted in a senior position to yourself and who has known you for at least 6 months.
