We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shop Supervisor to join our team in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail shop. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and possess strong leadership skills to effectively manage the shop's activities.
Duties:
- Supervise and lead a team of retail staff in providing excellent customer service- Manage inventory levels and ensure stock availability- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to drive sales- Maintain shop cleanliness and visual merchandising standards- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and record-keeping-Compiling staff rotas, dealing with leave requests and arranging cover when necessary-Planning workloads, allocating tasks and monitoring progress against targets-Briefing their teams on new initiatives, changes to targets and company news-Maintaining safety standards, conducting risk assessments, ensuring staff have adequate first aid and fire safety training-Recruiting, training and helping staff reach their professional development goals-Devising work schedules and implementing deadlines-Ensuring that quality standards are upheld-Conducting performance reviews
Skills:
- Bilingual with proficiency in multiple languages- Previous experience in retail management- Ability to sell products effectively- Strong leadership skills to supervise and motivate staff- Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette- Proficient in administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting-Performance management-Data analysis-Time management- Excellent communication skills-Quality assurance-Managing a budget-Prioritisation and time management skills
