Shot Social Agency is hiring a

Short-Form Social Media Manager

to support the distribution and growth of short-form content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels.

This role is designed for someone with

existing experience managing short-form video content

, particularly

podcast clips and creator-led content

, at consistent volume.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for the

posting, quality control, and performance tracking

of short-form content across multiple client accounts.

Our team works with creators, entrepreneurs, and podcast brands, distributing short-form content daily. A strong understanding of

hooks, retention, caption structures, posting behaviour, and platform trends

is essential.

Core ResponsibilitiesShort-Form Posting & Execution

Manually post short-form videos across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels Post natively on each platform without scheduling tools Select posting times based on performance data and audience behaviour Write and proof captions using client-specific structures (hook, context, CTA) Ensure correct tagging, credits, CTAs, and reel covers Maintain consistent posting across multiple client accounts, Monday to Saturday

Podcast & Creator Content Handling

Work with podcast episodes and long-form creator content Identify strong moments that translate into high-retention short-form clips Recognise hooks, emotional beats, and shareable moments Flag clips that may need improvement prior to posting

Content Quality & Brand Alignment

Quality-check each clip before publishing Ensure captions, subtitles, pacing, on-screen text, and audio are correct Follow client-specific playbooks for tone, formatting, and CTAs Prevent duplicate uploads or posting errors

Analytics & Performance Tracking

Track reach, views, watch time, engagement, and follower growth Identify patterns in high-performing content Highlight optimisation opportunities for underperforming posts Support weekly and monthly reporting

Workflow & Collaboration

Work closely with editors, designers, timestampers, and Client Success Keep Notion, Slack, and Frame.io updated with links and notes Execute weekly and monthly posting plans accurately

Required Experience

1-3 years experience managing short-form content for creators, podcasts, or agencies Hands-on experience posting on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts Experience working with podcast-based or long-form content Strong understanding of short-form hooks, retention, and storytelling High attention to detail in captions, CTAs, and posting accuracy Comfortable managing volume across multiple accounts
