Job Description

StrengthWorks is a friendly, expert-led gym focused on sustainable strength, long-term results and a thriving member community. We're looking for a creative and proactive Content & Social Media Manager to lead our digital content strategy and bring our gym's story to life - across Instagram, Facebook and email campaigns.

This is a hybrid role - you'll have flexibility to work remotely, but regular time in the gym is essential to capture content, collaborate with coaches and stay connected with the team and member community.

This is a hands-on role where you'll plan, create and execute content across channels, helping bring the StrengthWorks experience to life online.

Weekly Content & Campaigns



Plan, write, create and schedule weekly Instagram content (posts, reels, stories) in line with paid meta campaigns.

Manage posting across Instagram & Facebook.

Write compelling captions and marketing copy in a clear, confident tone.

Create engaging graphics using Canva or similar software.

Develop and execute monthly campaigns.

Content Creation & Editing



Film and edit short-form video content video editing software.

Record testimonials from members and interviews with coaches

Capture regular in-gym b-roll and training footage

Keep the social feed varied and visually engaging

Engagement & Community



Monitor and respond to DMs, comments, Q&As

Organise and post engagement content (polls, questions, coach challenges)

Support internal events (e.g. yoga evenings, social events, hikes) with posts, story promotion and follow-up

Gather and format Google reviews and member testimonials into posts

. create and implement strategies to improve and engagement on all content.

Admin & Support



Maintain a structured content calendar and reporting

Track post performance using social insights

Keep social media and marketing assets organised, up to date and usable for others

Support the team with ad-hoc marketing, admin and event tasks as needed

Help develop and improve systems and processes (e.g. documenting workflows, suggesting better tools, creating smoother content pipelines)

We're looking for someone who is:

A creative eye for high quality visuals, layout and video editing

Comfortable creating content with a phone or camera - not afraid to film, direct or jump in with ideas

A confident writer who can adapt tone and message clearly for our audience

A self-starter who can take initiative but also work collaboratively

Organised and reliable - able to manage a weekly posting rhythm and meet deadlines

In tune with social trends while still keeping content on-brand

Positive, warm and aligned with the StrengthWorks ethos: expert-led, inclusive, supportive and real

Experience using the following tools is a bonus (or you're willing to learn):



Canva or similar

Instagram/Facebook

video editing software.

Active Campaign (email marketing)

Go High level CRM & TeamUp (member support tools)
