Due to continued business growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join a successful growing team at our Mallusk site as a Process Operative within our powder coating department.
Job description
Process operatives work on any part of the powder coating line that is required. Metal will arrive in the yard from the galvanising department to be powder coated. Metal must be fettled of any defects from the galvanising process. It is then wired to a jig on the crane to be taken through the washing and drying process. Once dry the objects are sprayed with the powder coating and then manoeuvred into the oven to cure the coating. Once curing is complete the items will be removed from the jig and separated into different job lots for packing and awaiting collection from customer.
The powder coating department is located in a sheltered dry and warm location of the factory to ensure efficient coating and drying times of the metal equipment.
