Duties

Perform welding tasks to join metal components accurately and efficiently Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials Carry out masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing Conduct roofing repairs or installations ensuring durability and safety standards are met Assist with carpentry projects such as framing, fitting, and finishing work Undertake heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely in accordance with health and safety regulations Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of materials or personnel as required Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the worksite Follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise execution of tasks Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope

Experience

Proven experience in welding, carpentry, masonry, roofing, or related trades Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction or maintenance environments Experience in commercial driving is advantageous but not essential Ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods Prior exposure to working on construction sites or industrial settings preferred Knowledge of health and safety standards applicable to construction work
