Door Supervisor - Pubs & Nightclubs (Tamworth)

About the Role

KBG Security is now recruiting for experienced and professional

Door Supervisors

to join our expanding team in

Tamworth

, working at busy nightlife venues including pubs, bars, and nightclubs. This is a great opportunity for licensed security staff who are committed to safety, customer service, and professionalism in late-night environments.

You'll play a key role in:

Ensuring a secure and welcoming environment Managing access control and customer screening Dealing with incidents or disruptive individuals calmly and effectively Supporting venue staff and patrons to maintain a positive experience

Key Responsibilities

Access & Entry Control

Monitor entrance and exit points to control access Check identification and perform searches in line with venue policy and licensing laws Maintain clear and consistent entry procedures

Incident & Conflict Management

Identify and respond to anti-social behaviour or conflict Use de-escalation techniques and maintain a calm, professional presence Remove individuals safely and legally when required

Compliance & Reporting

Adhere to venue rules and licensing conditions, including capacity limits and age checks Complete accurate reports of incidents, removals, or safety concerns

Teamwork & Communication

Work closely with fellow guards, venue staff, and emergency services when required Maintain professional communication during all incidents and shifts

Customer Safety & Experience

Present yourself in a smart, professional manner Contribute to a welcoming environment for all patrons Offer assistance or guidance to customers when needed

Working Pattern

Primarily Friday and Saturday evenings (8pm-4am) Weeknight shifts may also be available Part-time, casual hours depending on venue requirements

Essential Requirements

Valid

SIA Door Supervisor Licence

Previous experience in pubs, clubs, or nightlife venues (preferred) Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times Able to work night shifts and weekend evenings

Desirable

First Aid trained or willing to complete First Aid training Experience completing incident logs or shift reports Familiarity with CCTV or local licensing conditions
