Overview



We are seeking a Specialist to join our team in providing expert support and guidance in a dynamic work environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Simphony/POS architecture and related technologies

Strong knowledge of API integrations and E2E data flow design

Familiarity with building scalable system design

Experience in building Solution document, Integration design documents, and taking to Architecture board for review

Understanding of hospitality industry standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Symphony architecture, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry

Proven experience with POS implementation and deployment in multi-property environments

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities

Responsibilities:

Design and develop the overall architecture for Simphony POS implementation across Whitbread

Able to bring thought leadership & best practices in configuring Simphony

Ability to lead the workshop with the Oracle Product Team and drive the solution as per client requirements.

Must have experience in setting up Simphony - Managing Hierarchy and Zone setup, managing Menu and pricing configurations, has proven experience on Oracle Simphony POS E2E technical implementation, including prerequisites, data configuration, interface setup, etc.

Understands the brand-specific standards and requirements for data suite config (configuring menus, pricing, promotions, and workflows to align with the corporate standards).

Led deployment architecture definition and helped Install/configure POS hardware, CAPS, POS terminals, tablets, handheld devices, kitchen and receipt printers, KDS, and other supported peripheral devices, etc.

Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to integrate the POS system with other certified tools, such as Opera PMS, inventory management, TMS, OPI, SPI, etc., wherever applicable.

Upgrade & Maintenance: Must have hands-on experience with application upgrades on Simphony 19.x. Perform regular updates of GR, MR packages, and maintenance to ensure the system operates efficiently and securely.

Data Analysis: Generate and analyse reports from Reporting & Analytics and POS data to provide actionable insights for business decision-making.

Compliance: Ensure the POS system complies with industry standards and data security regulations.

Provide expert guidance on best practices for Simphony configuration and customization

Manage transition state where both old & new POS solutions need to exist seamlessly

Troubleshoot complex issues and provide solution designs

Experience in inventory mgmt. solutions and integrating them with Simphony

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 343.56-407.50 per day

Day shift Monday to Friday
