P
reparation and posting of journals and nominal postings including accruals and prepayments (Day 2).

alance sheet reconciliations (including AP, AR) (Day 2).

tock reporting and valuation (including FIFO and overhead absorption adjustments). Ensure stock is counted and records are updated (materials at least monthly, finished goods coverage through cycle counts). Review of stock turnover and ageing and provide appropriately.

&L analysis & key variance commentary (Day 3).
E
nsure that all accounting transactions are recorded accurately.
P
roduction and upload of monthly control reports - COGNOS (Day 3).
L
iaise with Regional finance team regarding UK group VAT returns, Intrastat and corporation tax returns.
L
ead audit process for site & statutory accounts including preparation of supporting documentation, reconciliations, confirmations and stock / fixed asset counts.
L
iaise with Regional finance team with regards to accounts payable, GRNI accruals and bank transactions (shared services).
E
nsure site spend authorized in advance in line with approval policies.
M
anagement of fixed register including assets under construction and tooling.
L
iaise with Regional finance team regarding payroll accounting.
I
ntercompany confirmations and reconciliations, including liaising with Group finance regarding intercompany loans, interest, management charges and royalties.
L
iaise with Finance Shared Services team regarding bank reconciliations.
M
anage Finance Master Data in the M3 ERP.
P
roduction and presenting of weekly & monthly management reports including P&L analysis, performance KPIs (eg conversion cost, material usage variances) and cost centre reports to site management teams. Performance reporting versus budget, forecast and previous periods.
P
reparation of projections (eg weekly conversion cost), budgets (annual), forecasts (quarterly).
P
rovision of timely and accurate data to the business to allow for effective decision making.
B
usiness case financials to support CAPEX investments. Ensure authorised in line with approval policy. Tracking of spend.

upport the Site Director and Regional Finance as necessary.
