Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in CAD software and land surveying, and have a solid understanding of project management principles. Duties

Manage and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety regulations. Develop detailed project plans, schematics, and system designs using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD tools. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and surveyors to facilitate smooth project execution. Conduct land surveys using ArcGIS and land surveying techniques to gather accurate site data. Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and system design documents. Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare reports for stakeholders. Oversee quality control measures and ensure compliance with building codes and environmental standards. Assist in resource planning and procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Utilise project management tools to schedule tasks, assign responsibilities, and manage budgets effectively.

Experience

Proven experience in civil engineering or construction projects with a strong background in site supervision. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS, and other relevant CAD software is essential. Experience with land surveying techniques and tools is highly desirable. Familiarity with system design principles within civil engineering contexts. Knowledge of construction processes, schematics development, and project management methodologies. Strong mathematical skills with the ability to interpret technical data using Mathcad or similar programmes. Previous experience working on large-scale infrastructure or land development projects is advantageous.
