The Role



We are recruiting for a Site Engineer to deliver all site engineering functions in full compliance with company procedures, regulations and legislative requirements.

The role will involve extensive cross functional collaboration with operations, procurement, QA/SHE, and sales and marketing teams throughout all stages of the engineering process. This is a hands-on position focused on ensuring that daily planning and engineering activities are co-ordinated and executed in line with applicable standards, procedures and company procedures. The Site Engineer will take responsibility in the absence of the Site manager or Project manager.

Main Responsibilities



Surveying and measuring works- site walkovers Produce fabrication sheets and installation drawings - red line Planning and progress monitoring using LVE database Conduct daily briefings with site teams to follow-up and report on the work in progress to anticipate any possible delays to planned tasks. Conduct regular inspections and assess work performance Establish, report and follow up on non- conformance activities Analyse data, issue Technical Queries Enforce relevant safety rules, ensure PPE is worn as and where required Attend co-ordination meetings as required Determine schedule, estimates and work scope to execute and complete deliverables within budget Using LVE tracking database to control hours, enter timesheets and compile daywork sheets Update/complete fab sheets, as- builts, test limits, punch packs, SI's and workplans Manage Drawings and filing systems Track free issue materials etc. Establish and maintain harmonious client relationship to support project delivery and client satisfaction Support cost control as per contractual procedures, objectives and requirements. Support administrative and organizational activities to perform cost analysis and estimation Any other reasonable task as requested by the company.

Skills and Experience



Degree-qualified in an engineering discipline is preferred. However, relevant experience and technical knowledge will also be considered. Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of the importance of delivering projects on time and to budget. In-depth understanding of project controls, concepts and theories Strong IT skills including Microsoft Project Working knowledge of, or ability to develop an understanding of quality assurance regulations ISO 9001 Excellent written communication with the ability to produce accurate technical and general business documentation to a consistently high level Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively in both technical and non-technical terms.

Rates:



PAYE Basic: 27.73/hr OT1: 38.82/hr OT2: 49.91/hr IBA Payment - 2.37/hour Travel & Accommodation - As per NAECI

Overtime



Monday to Thursday- OT1 after 8 hrs Friday OT1 after 6 hrs Sat- OT1 first 4 hrs, OT2 all other hours (generally 4) Sun- All hours OT2

Working Hours



Average 108+ hours over 11 day period. Overtime available. Week 1: Mon-Thurs: 11 hrs | Fri-Sun: 8.5 hrs Week 2: Mon-Thurs: 11 hrs | Fri-Sun: Off
