About the Role



We're looking for an experienced and motivated Hydraulic Service Engineer to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of hydraulic systems across a range of industrial and mobile equipment.

You'll be working both independently and as part of a team on our client's sites and our factory based in Rochester.

Key Responsibilities



Carry out fault diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of hydraulic systems. Carry out hydraulic hose replacements, system flushing, and pressure testing. Install and commission new hydraulic equipment and components. Read and interpret technical drawings and hydraulic schematics. Provide on-site technical support and advice to customers. Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of all work. Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:



Proven experience as a Hydraulic Engineer, Technician, or similar role. Knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and circuit design. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics. Problem-solving and fault-finding skills. Full UK driving licence (essential). Flexibility to work overtime, call-outs and occasional working away subject to the demands of our customers.
