Site Engineer - RC Frame & Groundworks

The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a

Site Engineer

to join a highly skilled project team delivering

RC frame and groundworks projects

across the Edinburgh region.

You will play a key role in the technical delivery of projects, supporting setting out, dimensional control, quality and engineering coordination, while working closely with site and operations teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out and dimensional control for RC frame and groundworks packages. Interpreting engineering and design information and issuing RFIs/TQs as required. Producing as-built records and quality documentation. Supporting health, safety and environmental standards on site. Assisting with quality inspections, ITPs and permits to work. Mentoring and supporting Graduate and Assistant Engineers. Assisting with materials, quantities and site logistics.

Requirements

HNC (or above) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management. Proven experience on

RC frame / concrete projects

. Strong setting out and surveying capability. Competent using CAD and survey equipment (EDM / total stations). Ability to mentor junior engineers and work as part of a site team.
