Job Summary


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in project scheduling, construction management, and technical drafting, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in civil engineering, water treatment, or related fields to contribute to innovative infrastructure projects. The Site Engineer will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, manage technical documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities



Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools such as MS Project or Primavera. Prepare and review construction schematics, drawings, and technical documentation utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Schematics. Conduct construction inspections to verify adherence to design specifications and safety protocols. Manage project scope, budget estimates, and resource allocation through construction estimating and project management best practices. Utilize GIS tools like ArcGIS and GIS software such as GIS or HEC to analyze spatial data relevant to project sites. Oversee land surveying activities and coordinate with survey teams to ensure accurate site data collection. Apply hydraulics, geotechnical engineering principles, and system design knowledge for water treatment, wastewater treatment, or pipeline projects. Prepare technical reports and documentation through technical writing and drafting to communicate project progress and findings effectively. Collaborate with contractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met efficiently. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards throughout all phases of construction.

Requirements



Proven experience in construction management, project engineering, or site supervision. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS or HEC-HMS software packages. Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6. Strong knowledge of construction inspection procedures and schematics interpretation. Experience with GIS applications like ArcGIS or similar spatial analysis tools. Knowledge of hydraulics systems, geotechnical engineering principles, land surveying techniques, and system design processes related to water/wastewater treatment projects. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication skills for technical writing and collaboration across teams. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety regulations.
