SITE ENGINEER - REFUSE CHUTE SERVICING

COMPANY VAN PROVIDED

Starting Salary: 26,000 to 35,000

depending on hours worked

Required to live within 20 miles radius from Dunstable LU5

We specialise in high rise recycling facilities and linen chute systems. With over 40 years' experience in this sector, we work across the UK installing and maintaining recycling and linen chute systems within all commercial properties including major hotels.

We have an opportunity for Site Engineer to work as part of Field Service team checking, repairing and maintaining our refuse chute systems whilst complying with the relevant safety standards.

Hours worked: Range of hours 5.30 to 17.00 (depending on customer location)

Initial 3 months Specialist In House training provided in our factory in Dunstable

Typical responsibilities will include:

Liaising with onsite concierge to arrange access and discuss potential faults / issues with the system. Identifying faults / issues within the system and repairing and replacing parts on site. Completing regular maintenance and fire safety checks ensuring the systems are fire certified and working in the correct manner. Required to manage your own day and task list to ensure the work is completed to the required standard in the time frame given as will be working on your own most of the time. All tools and equipment will be provided.

Skills and Experience required:

ESSENTIAL:

Full Driving Licence. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a small team. Organised and adept at managing and prioritising workload. Positive can-do attitude. Capability to stay away (UK-wide) to complete works on time.

DESIRABLE:

CSCS Card. Previous experience in a field service role is preferred but not essential. Previous experience in an installation role is preferred but not essential
