Site Engineering Manager
\xc2\xa360-70K + 10% pension + Bonus
Based in the Northwest
The Company:
Our client is a world class manufacturing business with multiple sites worldwide. The site in Manchester is state of the art and they are continuously investing in new machinery, plant upgrades and automation, they have large and experienced maintenance department, and are looking for an experienced site engineering manager to join the team and drive the department.
The Role:
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Site Engineering Manager will include:
- Management and leadership of a large multi-skilled maintenance department of around 20 (days and shift engineers)
- Mix of experience and personalities
- Manage the department budget \xe2\x80\x93 labour, materials, and Capex.
- Control H&S within the department
- Put succession planning in place \xe2\x80\x93 identify and develop leaders.
- Create, develop, and maintain a TPM system.
- Manage Capital Projects.
- Must be a qualified and experienced engineer (electrical or mechanical)
- Must have previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineering Manager.
- Strong Leadership, communication, and continuous improvements skills
- Experience in continuous improvements and developing and maintaining a TPM system.
- Experience within a world class manufacturing site would be beneficial but not essential.
