Job Description

A medium sized civil engineering company with 25 years' experience in civil engineering, directional drilling has a requirement for a Site Engineer / Supervisor with a background in civil engineering / utilities for upcoming work in the Monaghan/Cavan area with future work in the border counties..

Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications & experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

Taking Levels

Keep accurate records of labour, materials, and other expenses.

Order materials and recording.

Planning the works and managing the site.

Organising direct and sub-contract labour.

Measure up, noting any design changes and their effect on cost.

Ensure works are carried out safely to the highest standard.

Essential Criteria:

Construction qualification in construction management/civil engineering

Minimum 2 years proven experience within construction/ civil engineering.

Excellent communication skills

Full clean driving licence required

Desirable: Experience in deep excavations/watermains/civils/utilities.

The role would also suit an experienced supervisor/ foreman with a strong civils background.

Considerations:

Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm with an early finish last Friday of the month
