We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing various wooden and other material structures. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble bespoke joinery components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
Install fixtures, fittings, and structures on-site in accordance with technical drawings and specifications
Perform carpentry tasks including cutting, shaping, and fitting timber and other materials
work well as part of a team aswell as lone working
complete time sheets, photos and description of works is a must
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times
Maintain a clean, organised workspace and ensure tools are properly stored after use
Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget
Experience
Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, or related trades
Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, screwdrivers
Experience working with power tools including drills, sanders, saws
Knowledge of roofing techniques, first fix, second fix, doors, fire doors, kitchens and bathrooms
Ability to undertake heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Previous involvement in construction
Familiarity with health and safety standards relevant to construction sites
Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, organisational skills, and the ability to adapt to various tasks within the construction environment. This role is ideal for those eager to expand their practical skills across multiple trades while contributing to high-quality building projects.
