We have an excellent opportunity for a qualified Joiner / Carpenter.
Applicants to have NVQ or City & Guilds equivalent, be able to work as part of a team with excellent work ethic, good communication skills, clean and tidy appearance and excellent organisation skills.
Must be multi skilled in other construction disciplines.
Duties:
Competent in 1st & 2nd fix work
Splicing rotten timber ends on trusses, purlins, etc
Repairing historic windows, doors
Roof timber work, valleys, replacement rafters, skylights, etc
Carrying out other types of restoration work as required including lime works, masonry, etc
Requirements:
Own tools and equipment
Proven track record
References
Approx. 40 hours per week with option of weekend work.
Working away as required - accommodation, travel and bonus
Paid 28 days holiday per year.
Additional training & development available.
Stable opportunity with long term employment.
Negotiable pay (hourly rate) depending on experience.
