Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn various trades. This role involves working on diverse projects that may include electrical, roofing, carpentry, plumbing, painting, masonry, and fabrication tasks. The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to the successful completion of projects while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Duties

Assist in various construction and maintenance tasks across multiple trades including electrical work, roofing, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and masonry. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently. Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate effectively with team members. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in relevant areas.

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction or related fields is advantageous but not essential. Valid CSCS Card is advantageous but not required. Must have a clean, full driving license. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools is preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, roofing techniques, carpentry skills, plumbing practices, painting methods, and masonry work is desirable. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. A good level of physical fitness as the role requires manual handling and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
