Site Lead - Breakfast & After School Clubs

Location:

St John's Primary School, Canterbury

Hours:

24 hours per week (Monday to Friday, split between mornings and afternoons)

Salary:

12.50-13.50 per hour

Contract Type:

Part-Time, Term-Time Only

Lead with Purpose - Support Children Beyond the Classroom

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Site Lead to manage our Breakfast and After School Clubs at St John's Primary School in Canterbury.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a childcare professional with leadership experience to create a positive, structured, and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired before and after the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operation of both Breakfast and After School Club sessions Plan and lead a variety of age-appropriate, stimulating activities for children aged 4-11 Supervise and support team members on site Foster strong relationships with children, families, and school staff Maintain a safe environment and ensure full compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards

Candidate Requirements:

A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Playwork, or a related discipline Experience working with primary school-aged children Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity A thorough understanding of safeguarding principles and procedures A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate is desirable but not essential
