Site Maintenance Operative

Huish Episcopi Academy

The Role

You'll be responsible for supporting the maintenance, security, and day-to-day operations of the school premises. From minor repairs to setting up for school events, your contribution will help ensure that the site is safe, clean, and fully operational for students, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Be Doing

Carrying out general maintenance and basic repairs Ensuring site security including opening/locking up Assisting with deliveries, setting up rooms, and supporting school events Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and health & safety Supporting the smooth running of the school through reactive and planned tasks

What We're Looking For

A can-do, proactive attitude and willingness to get stuck in Good communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic trade or maintenance skills A commitment to safeguarding and child protection
