Job Description

Overview

We're a well established, reputable roofing contractor working on social housing projects across Yorkshire. We're looking for an experienced Site Manager with pitched roofing experience, to manage day to day running of our projects on site throughout Yorkshire & Lincolnshire.

Duties

- Oversee and manage all aspects of site operations, including personnel, equipment, and resources.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize site performance and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
- Monitor and maintain levels of materials and supplies.
- Coordinate with client, operatives, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and address any issues or concerns.
- Provide leadership and guidance to operatives and subcontractors, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.

Experience

- Must have proven experience in a similar role (Pitched Roofing Site Manager).
- Must have SMSTS or SSSTS
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using computer software and systems related to site management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
