Position: Site Manager - Water Treatment Sites
Location: East Anglia
Contract Type: Permanent

Panks is a Family Business built on family values. We are seeking a skilled Site Manager with experience managing work faces at Principal Contractor level.

Key Responsibilities:

Check welfare facilities are in place and maintained.

Ensure Health and Safety file information is understood by site staff and contractors.

Site rules are understood and followed.

Plant will be properly used and maintained.

Provision for storage of materials (particularly hazardous) and work equipment

Ensuring site staff have sufficient competence and Supervision, consider; Safe isolation and Electrical installation, Demolition or dismantling, Control of lifting operations, Working in confined spaces.

Welding and other hot works,

Ensure test/inspection requirements (pressure/electrical) are followed. Site audits/monitoring.

Arrange for remedial works to be attended to.

On site training (toolbox, task and job specific health and safety instruction).

Reporting and investigation of accidents and near misses.

Promote good housekeeping.

Manage site clearance for handover to client.

Ensure system is commissioned and complies with Clients safe to operate requirements.

Make allowance for complying with: PUWER ,LOLER ,COSHH & Noise at work regulations.

Ensuring machinery and plant will be properly selected, used and maintained.

Ensuring that operator training is provided.

Ensuring the correct use of PPE.

Carry out audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented

Essential Requirements:

Essential: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), First Aid certification, CSCS card.

Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage project teams effectively.

Pay: From 45,000.00 per year
