The Site Operations Manager (SOM) will lead the production and warehouse teams on site, and be responsible for planning and executing the day to day and longer term operational aspects of the business. This encompasses our desire to focus on operational excellence and service.

To achieve this, the SOM will focus on managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, optimising production efficiency, and leading cross-functional teams to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and manage production and warehousing operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance. Champion the use of systems for real-time stock and performance data. Drive operational excellence through process improvement and team development. Ensure adherence to food safety standards including HACCP, ISO, and other regulations. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Procurement, HR, and Logistics. Manage site budgets and present operational reports to senior leadership. Act as the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Champion for the site. Support strategic planning to meet short and long-term capacity and resource needs. Build strong relationships with customers to deliver sustainable growth and service excellence.

What We're Looking For



Proven success in senior operational management, ideally within fresh produce or food service. A collaborative leadership style with strong people management experience (5+ years). Graduate-level education or equivalent experience; management qualifications desirable. Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen. Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills. A values-driven approach with a passion for team development and customer service.
