Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Site Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our steelwork operations on-site, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the unloading, handling, and storage of steelwork materials on-site. Support steel erectors and welders in the installation of structural steel components. Operate hand and power tools and other equipment required for steelwork tasks. Follow detailed instructions from site supervisors and project managers. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a construction or steelwork environment is preferred but not essential. Basic understanding of construction and steelwork processes. Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and practices. Teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to undergo training and development as required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Desirable Qualifications:

Current valid CSCS card
Physical Demands:

Frequent lifting and carrying of materials. Standing, bending, and climbing for extended periods. Working at heights and in confined spaces.

Pay: From 12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
