Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, with experience in various plumbing tasks and systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge, the ability to read drawings, and proficiency in using hand and power tools. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in our modular built bathrooms.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Read and interpret drawings and schematics to determine layout of plumbing systems. Perform pipe threading and assembly tasks as required for installation. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete plumbing tasks. Conduct heavy lifting as necessary to move materials or equipment on site. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion. Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience in plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing systems. Ability to read technical drawings. Valid clean driving license is essential for transportation of materials. Familiarity with bathroom pods is a plus but not mandatory. CSCS Card, Essential Asbestos Awareness, Manual handling and First Aid - desirable and will be beneficial long term
As a Skilled Plumbing Operative, you will be integral to maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of our maintenance and repairs. This position is short term in the interim but could become permanent for the right candidate.

This job will be on site in Leeds - reporting firstly to our office in Hull. Pay is negotiable depending on experience.
