We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor/Estimator to oversee daily operations at our construction site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail to contribute to the successful delivery of our projects. The Site Supervisor/Estimator will play a pivotal role in coordinating teams, managing resources, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the site.
Duties
Supervise daily site activities, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and specifications
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations
Monitor health and safety compliance, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly
Implement cost control measures to optimise resource utilisation and minimise waste
Oversee the deployment of labour, equipment, and materials to meet project deadlines
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents or delays
Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote a culture of safety among all personnel
Resolve on-site issues swiftly to prevent project delays or cost overruns
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with legal regulations and company policies

Experience
Proven experience in construction site supervision or a similar role within the building industry
Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures
Demonstrable ability in cost control and resource management
Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels
Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH or CSCS certification are desirable but not essential
A proactive approach with problem-solving capabilities and leadership qualities to motivate teams effectively

Pay: 18.00-22.00 per hour
