Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting precise measurements and assessments of windows and doors, structures to determine boundaries, elevations, and contours. This role requires a strong understanding of surveying principles, proficiency with surveying equipment, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties and construction projects. Utilise advanced surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS systems, and levels to gather accurate data. Prepare detailed survey reports that clearly present findings and recommendations. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure project specifications are met. Perform site inspections to assess conditions and verify the accuracy of survey data. Maintain equipment in good working order and adhere to safety protocols at all times. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in surveying technology.

Qualifications

A degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in surveying or a similar role is advantageous. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate data collection and analysis. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and navigate challenging terrains. A valid driving licence is desirable for travel to various job sites.
