With over 50 employees, we are one of the largest curtain and blind suppliers in the UK. We survey, manufacture and install thousands of bespoke projects every year.
We are currently seeking a trainee estimator / site surveyor to assist our current estimating and sales team in their roles both within our Ilkeston office and remotely in their established geographic sales areas. This role will involve a mixture of both office and site work, the successful applicant will be responsible for assisting our estimating team extract quantities, sizes and other technical information from construction drawings in order to raise and submit project pricing, additionally assisting our sales team in visiting customers to identify their requirements, providing help & advice, demonstrating our products, arranging samples and ascertaining accurate sizes/measurements for quotation and manufacturing purposes
The successful applicant will ideally have some knowledge (installation or sales) within the blind and curtain market sector, although this is not essential as full product training will be provided.
We require applicants to have:-
Excellent communication skills
Good IT knowledge
Self motivation and ability to work under their own initiative
GCSE grades c (4) or above in English Language and Maths
Flexibility to work varied hours (Monday - Friday) and away from home if necessary
Full UK driving licence
