The Role
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented SketchUp Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for producing accurate and visually compelling 3D models and technical drawings for client presentations, manufacturing, and installation teams.
Full product-specific training will be provided, along with ongoing support from our experienced team to help you develop your skills, industry knowledge, and understanding of our bespoke timber systems.
Key Responsibilities
Create detailed 3D models in SketchUp Pro, including accurate joinery and construction details.
Prepare presentation visuals and rendered images for client proposals.
Prepare and submit planning applications, including drawings, forms, and supporting documents.
Produce working drawings and cutting lists for workshop use.
Collaborate closely with the design, sales, and production teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
Maintain an organised library of components, textures, and templates.
Skills & Experience Required
Proficiency in SketchUp Pro (essential) and LayOut.
Experience in architectural, joinery, or construction-based design.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and dimensional accuracy.
Experience with rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion) is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
